In the aftermath of a biological war that reduced mankind to ape-like cavemen, a lone survivor tries to educate a primitive man in "human" behavior in an attempt to revive a new evolution

Karayr is an Arabic post-apocalyptic independent short film, with Armenian influences. The story is set in the Middle East and takes place in the wake of a biological war that devolved people back to ape-like cavemen. A lone survivor attempts to civilize a primitive man by teaching him "human" behavior.

The movie is the second film for award-winning director Neo Apelian, and is written by and award-winning filmmaker Razan Takash who also serves as producer on the project.  The two have achieved impressive results on previous collaborations such as "IDI"(2021) and "M1das" (2020), winning several awards.

This is a passion for Neo and Razan with a script that has been developed over the course of 5 years.
